MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) -The L.W. Paul Living History Farm shows people how Horry County residents lived in the twentieth century.

Something they do every year is make cane syrup! Cane syrup isn’t like maple syrup, it’s come from a sugar cane that looks like bamboo. They grind it to get all the sweet juices out and then cook down the juice in the syrup shed.

The whole process is two days of work!
