Police: Fourth person reported injuries following Florence shooting

FLORENCE, S.C. (WMBF) – Police continue to investigate a Wednesday night shooting in Florence that left several injured.

According to information from the Florence Police Department, the shooting happened in the 500 block of Gaillard Street around 6:12 p.m.

Wednesday night, it was reported that three people were injured in the shooting. On Thursday morning, investigators learned that four people suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital, authorities said.

“The fourth victim from this incident originally reported the shooting to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office,” a press release from the FPD stated. “All of the injuries from this incident were reported as non-life threatening.”
