CONWAY, S.C. (WMBF) – A special Quilts of Valor display is currently available to view at the Horry County Museum.

According to a press release, quilts made especially for 18 area veterans are on display at the museum, located at 805 Main St., in Conway, through Dec. 17.

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover all service members and veterans, touched by war, with a comforting and healing quilt, the release stated.

The Horry County Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is free to the public.
