PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (WMBF) – When he’s not using the Force, he’s tagging along with some Grand Strand first responders!

Midway Fire Rescue posted photos to social media of the special guest who was hanging out with crews at Station 81 on Tuesday. It was none other than Baby Yoda himself or, more specifically, “The Child” from the hit Disney+ Star Wars show “The Mandalorian.”

“He was in full safety gear, learning what our crews do everyday,” Midway Fire Rescue posted to Facebook. “The crews are usually up early on Friday’s ready to watch the episodes every week.”

This isn’t Baby Yoda’s first big outing of the week.

He also caught a ride with the four astronauts of the SpaceX Dragon capsule that was bound for the International Space Station.

The plush toy continued a tradition of astronauts bringing a zero-gravity indicator with them on their flights. It originally began on Russian Soyuz spacecraft.
