MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Today’s forecast will continue our warming trend with highs topping out in the middle and upper 70s. With onshore flow still prominent today, that will keep enough moisture around for things to feel muggy.
We’ll also see the return of a few isolated showers this afternoon and through the remainder of this weekend. It won’t be a washout by any stretch but about a 20% chance of rain can be expected into this afternoon for both the beaches and areas inland.
With the remnants of Eta bringing increasing tropical moisture to the area, this will only increase our rain chances and temperatures into the new work week. The best chances of rain will take place through mid and late week with a 60% chance of showers and storms possible at times.
