Coroner’s office identifies victim killed in early morning crash on Kings Highway

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - One person has died following a car crash in Myrtle Beach early Sunday morning.

The collision happened at the intersection of 62nd Ave N. and N. Kings Hwy, according to officials.

The Horry County Coroner’s Office says 21-year-old Avonnia Johnson, of Myrtle Beach, died a short time after the accident at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department investigated the accident.
