USGS: 2.0 magnitude earthquake felt in S.C.

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed an earthquake hit South Carolina Friday morning.

According to a tweet from the S.C. Emergency Management Division, the 2.0 magnitude quake occurred near Leslie, which is near Rock Hill, just before 8 a.m.

Friday’s quake comes almost two weeks after a 5.1 magnitude earthquake happened near Sparta, N.C.
