CHARLOTTE, S.C. (WMBF) – The Carolina Panthers have chosen Derrick Brown, the defensive tackle for the Auburn Tigers, in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Carolina had the seventh pick in the first round.

The draft is being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The overall No. 1 pick was Joe Burrow, the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback for the national champion LSU Tigers. He was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals.
