Robeson County officials announce two new COVID-19 cases, bringing total to five

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WMBF) – Robeson County officials announced Saturday that two more residents had tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to five.

Information from the county states an elderly resident with no travel history tested positive for COVID-19 while being briefly hospitalized locally.

The man is at home and currently doing well, officials said.

Members of the Robeson County Health Department will continue to investigate.

A second older person with travel history was confirmed as the county’s fifth coronavirus case Saturday afternoon, according to officials. That person is currently hospitalized.
