Police arrest man accused of stealing from Lumberton jewelry store

LUMBERTON, N.C. (WMBF) – Lumberton police tracked down the man accused of stealing for a jewelry store.

Michael Oxendine was arrested on Wednesday afternoon and charged with two counts of felony larceny.

Police said surveillance video captured him stealing a gold rope chain and gold Indian head charm on Saturday from McNeill Jewelers in Biggs Mall.

He is currently in the Robeson County Detention Center under at $90,000 bond.
