MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A major furniture store will be replacing what was once a Toys 'R' Us in Myrtle Beach.

Burroughs and Chapin, which owns the property at Seaboard Commons, confirmed that Haverty’s Furniture will move into the 30,000 square foot space along Seaboard Street.

The store is expected to open in August or September of 2020.

The space was left vacant when Toys 'R' Us closed its stores nationwide in 2018.
