SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – The town of Surfside Beach has repealed a state of emergency following Hurricane Dorian.
A town-wide curfew and prohibition on entering the ocean has also been repealed.
Conway city leaders also announced that its curfew will not continue Friday night.
“However, drivers are still asked to use caution with possible downed power lines, debris, and ponding on the roadways,” a Conway press release stated.
The declarations were imposed on Wednesday ahead of the storm.
