ILM closing to commercial flights starting tonight

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - The Wilmington International Airport will be closed to commercial flights starting at 9 p.m. Wednesday due to Hurricane Dorian.

According to a tweet from the airport, commercial flights will resume at the airport Friday morning at a time to be determined.

Officials ask the public to not call the airport about their flight status and to contact the airlines directly.
