Man charged in connection to shooting at Florence County car dealership that injured one

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – A Lamar man has been formally charged after one person was injured in a shooting Monday morning in Florence County, according to Chief Deputy Glen Kirby with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

A FCSO press release states 29-year-old Decarlos Lacharles Green was arrested June 25 and charged with one count of unlawful carrying of a pistol. He was released from the Florence County Detention Center on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

The shooting happened at the Efrid car dealership on West Lucas Street at around 8:30 a.m., Kirby previously said. He added the shooting was the result of an isolated domestic incident.

The victim’s injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
