One person sent to hospital after boat fire in North Myrtle Beach

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A boat was engulfed in flames when North Myrtle Beach firefighters arrived to a scene.
Emergency crews were called just before 11 p.m. to the 600 block of 38th Avenue South, where a boat next to a home was on fire.
Firefighters said none of the structures nearby were threatened by the fire.
One person was taken to the emergency room by Horry County Fire Rescue for burns to the upper torso area.
