Report: Motorcycles stolen during Grand Strand’s spring bike rally

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Two bikers had a rough start to the weekend when three of their motorcycles were stolen, according to a police report.

Police were called Friday morning to the 600 block of North Ocean Boulevard.

Two victims told officers that their motorcycles were in the parking lot around 4 a.m. Friday morning and then when they came back out to the parking lot about four hours later, the motorcycles were gone.

Police checked towing companies with negative results.

The victims said that no one else had keys or access to the motorcycles.

Police entered the 2001 silver and yellow Suzuki GSX 1300R, a 2004 black Honda CBR 1000RR and a 2007 black and blue Suzuki GSX R600 into a database and reported them as stolen.

Thousands of bikers came to the Grand Strand to take part in spring Harley Rally event.
