Early morning fire in Florence ruled accidental, fire investigators say
A fire broke out during the lunch hour Feb. 22 in Shreveport. The fire on Weinstock Street was reported at 12:20 p.m., Caddo 911 dispatch records show. At one point, Shreveport Fire Department had a dozen units on the scene between Norma Avenue and Elder Street.

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – Florence firefighters were called to an early morning fire on Sunday.

They responded to a home at 1924 Woods Drive and saw fire and smoke coming from the roof.

Several hose lines were deployed which allowed firefighters to control the fire in about 20 minutes.

Firefighters remained on the scene for about an hour in order to extinguish any hot spots.

The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical, but is believed to be accidental.

There were no injuries in the fire.

Red Cross was called to help the homeowner.
