Florence deputies preparing for extradition after stolen car leads to arrests
Florence County deputies say an investigation into a stolen car led to an arrest Saturday. Aimee Cook, of Hiddenite, NC and Randall Scott, of Lugoff, SC have been arrested after deupties say the duo stole a 2019 Dodge Challenger. Officials say they located the vehicle at a motel on Cale Yarborough Highway near Timmonsville, SC early Saturday morning.

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Florence County deputies say an investigation into a stolen car led to an arrest Saturday.

Aimee Cook, of Hiddenite, NC and Randall Scott, of Lugoff, SC have been arrested after deupties say the duo stole a 2019 Dodge Challenger. Officials say they located the vehicle at a motel on Cale Yarborough Highway near Timmonsville, SC early Saturday morning.

While being taken into custody, authorities say they found felony warrants for Cook out of Wilkesboro, NC and Alexander County, NC. Scott also had warrants out of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (BATF) headquarters in Washington, D.C.

According to a release, both subjects are being held at the Florence County Detention Center pending extradition.
