Swim advisories in Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach lifted after bacterial levels return to normal
Myrtle Beach city leaders hope to make swimming advisories more accurate by changing wording.

COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - Two Grand Strand swim advisories have been lifted after bacteria levels returned to normal.

According to a press release from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the advisories were lifted at Singleton Swash in Myrtle Beach and at 11th Avenue North in Surfside Beach.

The advisories had been issued Wednesday afternoon.
