FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – A motion has been filed to revoke rapper Kodak Black’s bond on sexual assault charges in Florence County following his most recent arrest in Miami.

Twelfth Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements said he filed the motion Wednesday morning under Black’s birth name, Dieuson Octave, and his current legal name, Bill Kapri. A hearing will be scheduled for a later time, he added.

Clements said his understanding is Black remains in federal detention in Florida. The rapper was arrested Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, according to the U.S Marshals Service. A statement said he was charged with a crime in connection with weapons, the Associated Press reported.

Last month, Black was arrested after he and three others allegedly tried to cross the U.S.-Canadian border with guns and marijuana.

In the Pee Dee, Black is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct following a 2016 incident. He is only allowed in South Carolina for court appearances.
