HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Police say shots were fired during a robbery Monday morning at a Longs lawn equipment store.

At around 10:30 a.m., police responded to Wampee Equipment on Highway 90 and spoke to a store employee, according to an Horry County police report. The employee said he saw the suspect walking toward the back of the store carrying a weed eater, which he believed was stolen from the business, the report states.
