MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Temperatures and humidity will quickly increase through the weekend as a more summer-like weather pattern returns.
This morning is start off unseasonably cool with inland temperatures in the upper 40s to lower and 50s and readings along the Grand Strand in the lower to middle 50s.
This afternoon features another round of below normal temperatures with abundant sunshine. Highs will reach the mid 70s once again with no humidity.
Thursday will see the start of a significant warming trend as temperatures return to the lower 80s. Humidity values will continue tobe low for Thursday but quickly increase as we head into the weekend.
High pressure to our east will quickly pump the heat and humidity back for Friday, the weekend and into and early next week. Temperatures will climb into the middle to upper 80s on Friday with mostly sunny skies. For the weekend, areas inland will hit the lower 90s with humidity making the temperatures feel like the mid 90s at times in the afternoon. For the beaches, look for highs to reach the mid-upper 80s. Despite the increasing humidity for the weekend, the forecast still remains rain-free.
The summer-like weather pattern will keep temperatures and humidity high through next week but the forecast remains dry.
