TIMMONSVILLE, SC (WMBF) – Three people, including a 17-year-old boy and another juvenile, are in custody after a weekend shooting that left one person dead.
According to Deputy Chief Glen Kirby with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals assisted the sheriff’s office in making the arrests.
Johnny Dargan, 17, is facing one count of murder, Timmonsville Police Chief Billy Brown said. He added that additional charges may be forthcoming.
Also charged are 25-year-old Jermaine McLeod, of Dillon, and a juvenile who was transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia, according to Brown. Both are also facing murder charges.
The shooting happened Saturday night near the intersection of Main and Orange streets in Timmonsville.
Leon Johnson, 39, of Florence, was pronounced dead following the shooting.
