MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Sunny skies and low humidity continue today with an increase in humidity still on the way by the weekend.
Today and Thursday look great once again. Lower humidity will continue through today before it begins to climb by Thursday and Friday. Highs will remain mild with readings near 80 on the beach and the mid 80s inland. Once the humidity climbs, feel-like temperatures will also climb. At times this weekend, it will feel like 90°, especially in Florence and areas inland.
The increasing humidity combined with a weak cold front across the Carolinas will result in a few scattered shower and storm chances as we head into the weekend. The latest data suggests less rain chances for Friday at just 20% and even a slightly dryer forecast for Saturday - at 30%. Sunday will feature a slightly better chance of afternoon and evening showers and storms but many of those may hold off until after sunset Sunday.
