A report by Vacasa, North America’s largest vacation rental company, ranked Myrtle Beach as the second-best place to buy a beach house.
The company looked at vacation rental markets based at capitalization rates which factors in gross rental income, operating costs and historical costs.
The report found that Myrtle Beach has a 7.4% cap rate and the median home cost is $249,999.
Ocean Shores, Washington ranked number on the list.
