MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Warm weather and lower humidity continues through mid week.
The main weather story over the course of the next few days will continue to be lower humidity and sunshine. Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s at the beaches to mid 80s inland by this afternoon. Lower humidity will remain in place making for a comfortable afternoon.
Not much will change throughout Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will slowly climb reaching the lower to middle 80s Wednesday with inland areas reaching the upper 80s by Thursday. Not only will the temperatures climb through the middle of the week but the humidity will start to slowly return. Lower humidity will continue through Wednesday before climbing back into the muggy category late week.
The increasing humidity combined with a weak cold front across the Carolinas will result in a few scattered showers and storms as we head into the weekend forecast. At this time, the timing of the cold front is still uncertain but we do know the shower and storm chances will increase as we head into the weekend. A washout isn’t likely with most of the showers and storms developing during the late afternoon and early evening.
