MBPD: One in custody after hit-and-run crash on Highway 17 Bypass

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police investigated a hit-and-run crash Thursday night on the Highway 17 Bypass and 62nd Avenue North.

Myrtle Beach Police Cpl. Tom Vest said one of the vehicles involved in the wreck fled the scene.

Officers located the vehicle a short time later and took the driver into custody.

No one was hurt in the crash.

The name and the charges against the driver have not been released.
