LAKE CITY, SC (WMBF) – ArtFields, a celebration of Lake City’s agricultural past, present and future, has kicked off its 2019 edition.
From Friday through May 4, residents and visitors can enjoy live concerts, Southern chefs, artist workshops, a farmers market, crafts, dancing, and more.
Artists from 12 southeastern states with over 400 works of art will compete for $140,000 in cash prizes, according to festival information.
General admission is free. There are a lot of specialty events throughout the nine days, such as a laser show on Friday, a 5K color run on Saturday, and several live performances.
