MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Rain chances take a break as warmer weather continues to move in.
We’ll make a run towards 80° Tuesday afternoon as the mostly sunny skies continue. A large area of high pressure parks across the Carolinas, keeping rain chances low and continuing to bump up the temperatures.
Everybody makes it into the 80s Wednesday as we hit 82° along the Grand Strand, 85° in Florence. Expect another round of middle 80s across the area for Thursday.
Our next cold front arrives on Friday bringing a round of showers. No severe weather with this storm system and the rain will be scattered at most. Temperatures turn a bit cooler as the clouds increase, topping out in the upper 70s.
We’ll keep some clouds going into the weekend but rain chances remain slim. Afternoon highs top out on the 70s through Sunday.
