MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – From traffic light malfunctions to roadway washouts, Friday’s severe weather is beginning to take its toll.

Confirmed tornado in Florence County - 3:01 p.m.

Officials with the National Weather Service say an EF-0 tornado with approx 80 mph winds touched down in Olanta at 3:01 p.m. in Florence County.

Power lines down in Horry County - 4:27 p.m.

There are reports of power lines down in the road on SC 707 near the Papa John’s and just east of Socastee High School.

Traffic hazard in Horry County - 4:25 p.m.

A traffic hazard has been reported on Dick Pond Road near the Advance Auto Parts

Trees on homes and cars in Florence County - 4:23 p.m.

Florence County Emergency Management spokesperson Levi James said there are trees reported on homes and cars on Woods Bay Road in Olanta and Dansin Street in Lake City.

James said there are no reported injuries at these locations.

Tree in roadway in Darlington County - 4:19 p.m.

A downed tree is reported in the 1200 block of West Lydia Highway

Sheds, car damage in Olanta area of Florence County - 4:10 p.m.

Dusty Owens, director of Florence County Emergency Management, said there are reports of two sheds that were heavily damaged from the wind. A car is also reportedly damaged in the area from either a shed or a tree.

Tree in roadway in Darlington County - 3:52 p.m.

A downed tree is reported on Hartsville Highway at East Old Camden Road

Debris in roadway in Florence County - 3:43 p.m.

Debris has been reported in the roadway at US 76 near the flea market

Tree in roadway in Marion County - 3:41 p.m.

A tree is reported down on SC 9 past the T-Mart heading toward Centenary Avenue.

Tree in roadway in Florence County - 3:36 p.m.

Trees have been reported down near Markette at East Old Marion Highway and Old Number 4 at North Bethel Road.

Tree down on I-95 in Dillon County - 3:33 p.m.

A downed tree has been reported on I-95 at mile marker 175 in the southbound lanes. DOT crews are enroute the assess the situation.

A tree has also been reported down in the northbound lanes around mile marker 176. DOT crews have been notified.

Tree reported down on I-95 and traffic light malfunction in Florence County - 3:31 p.m.

There is a downed tree reported on I-95 near mile markers 160 and 161 in the southbound lanes. The DOT has been notified.

The South Carolina DOT is also reporting a crash in the northbound lanes of I-95 just two miles south of exit 169 at TV Road. It has forced crews to close the two right lanes.

The traffic light malfunction is being reported at the intersection of Cashua Drive and Mechanicsville Road

Trees in roadway in Florence County - 3:28 p.m.

There are reports of multiple trees down in Florence County. One is reported on Dunbarton Road and the second is reported at Lyn Hurst Road at Boiling Road

Traffic light malfunction in Horry County - 3:23 p.m.

There is a traffic light malfunction at the intersection of El Bethel Road and Dunnshortcut Road

Tree in roadway in Florence County - 3:21 p.m.

A tree is down on Sheminally Road near the Hanna Manor Nursing Home

Tree in roadway in Darlington County - 3:19 p.m.

A downed tree has been reported in the 1100 to 1200 block of W. Lydia Highway

Tree in roadway in Darlington County - 3:15 p.m.

A downed tree has been reported on Highway 15 at Tomahawk Road

Myrtle Beach International Airport flight cancellations - 3:10 p.m.

Three flights from Charlotte and one flight from Allentown, Pennsylvania have been canceled due to the weather.

Tree in roadway in Darlington County - 2:45 p.m.

The tree is down on U.S. 15 near the golf course

Palmetto High School Golf Classic canceled for Friday - 1:38 p.m.

Teams will carry their qualifying score into Saturday’s final round at True Blue and Caledonia Golf & Fish Club

Horry County Fair delays opening - 1:34 p.m.

The 4th Annual Horry County Fair Grand Opening has been postponed to Saturday, April 20. It is open from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Traffic light malfunction - 12:54 p.m.

A traffic light is out at S.C. 544 and U.S. 17 Business

Traffic light malfunction – 12:15 p.m.

A traffic light is out on Kings Highway and 55th Avenue North.

Debris in roadway - 12:12 p.m.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is reporting a tree in the roadway on S.C. 9 towards Little River just before S.C. 905.

Roadway flooding – 12:05 p.m.

The roadway was blocked at 11th Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard due to flooding.
