Lanes back open on SC 31 after car fire

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation said a vehicle fire closed lanes Tuesday afternoon on S.C. 31.
The two right lanes going southbound on 31 near S.C. 544 were shut down, according to the SCDOT.
WMBF News was sent a picture of the car engulfed in flames.
The SCDOT tweeted out that all lanes were cleared.
We’re working to find out if anyone was hurt.
