MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Temperatures are set to drop over 25° by Saturday afternoon!
We’ll bring back one more Spring-like afternoon before the big drop arrives. Looking for another round of 70s to arrive Friday afternoon with clouds increasing through the day. While the clouds thicken up, rain chances remain low Friday, and through the weekend.
The cold air comes rushing in overnight Friday and you’ll notice the difference by Saturday morning. Temperatures start off around 40° Saturday and only climb to 48° by the afternoon, 25° colder than what we’ll see Friday! The cold weather continues to move in with areas of frost likely Sunday morning. Afternoon highs rebound slowly Sunday as we manage some lower 50s.
While the clouds will linger through the weekend, rain chances will hold off until early next week. Expect scattered showers around both Monday and Tuesday. We turn warmer early in the week with another afternoon around 70° for next Tuesday.
