HARTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - A Hartsville woman is out on bond Saturday after authorities say a routine traffic stop took an unusual turn.
Ju’Quesha Ta’Sha Bishop, 23, of Hartsville, has been charged with assaulting a police officer while resisting arrest after DCSO says she spit on deputies attempting to take her into custody. Authorities say a search of the vehicle yielded nine schedule II pills.

According to a release, Bishop appeared before a Darlington County Magistrate this afternoon and was released on a $27,000 bond.
