MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A high-speed chase that includes a crash and a report of a second suspect who allegedly punched his victim after slamming her into a vanity. Let’s see if you can help authorities find them.
First up is Nyquan Zyqez Chestnut, Horry County Police said earlier this month they received a tip a car was stolen from the IGA in the Highway 90 area.
Police found Chestnut driving a vehicle in Longs and the chase was on. Despite the blue lights they say they chased Chestnut into a field, at times speeds reached 84 miles an hour.
He avoided stop sticks by using the shoulder of the road and eventually struck another vehicle.
Authorities lost him in a wooded area but eventually found the car at Bill’s Place but no sign of Chestnut, even a K-9 unit couldn’t find him.
Chestnut is 20-years-old and is charged with hit and run, possessing, concealing, selling or disposing of a stolen vehicle and failure to stop for a blue light.
Horry County police are also looking for Jacobi O’neil Gee. Earlier this month they responded to Legend Road in Galivants Ferry. The victim says Gee had just assaulted her.
She told police she asked Gee a question and he began fussing so she asked him to leave. She says he then grabbed her neck and pushed her into a vanity.
The victim told police he then apologized but the victim told him she didn’t think he was sorry. That’s when she says he grabbed the back of her neck and forced her to the ground.
Next, she said he punched her in the head with his fists and then apologized begging her not to call the police. He then left on foot. Authorities noted the victim had redness and her forehead and neck were swollen. Jacobi Gee is 26-years-old and is charged with Domestic Violence in the second degree.
