We begin this week’s Restaurant Scorecard with the Old Bull and Bush at 47-hundred Highway 17 Bypass in Horry County. Inspectors found ready to eat foods held over 24 hours were not being properly date marked.
Gyro meat and country sausage were found thawing on drain racks on the three compartment sink.
Ice buildup was found inside the walk-in freezer. The women’s bathroom was missing ceiling tiles and the door was in poor repair.
Old Bush And Bull received an 88 out of 100.
Next up is Hardees at 10 U-S Highway 17 North in Surfside Beach.
Inspectors found staff was changing time stickers but they weren’t discarding the product. Drain flies were found throughout the kitchen.
Unacceptable amounts of grease buildup were found on the sides of equipment and inside reach-in coolers build up was also found on tabletops and under microwaves.
Black build up and food accumulation was found on floors. Drains had sludge build up.
Hardees received a 94 out of 100.
