MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The clear skies are causing some cooler temperatures this morning, so you’ll need the jacket in addition to the sunglasses.
Partly cloudy skies do begin to move in Monday, with only a small 20%-30% chance of an overnight shower Monday night along the Grand Strand. The rain chances will start around 9PM and last until early Tuesday morning. The rest of the area, and the rest of the work week for that matter, will remain dry.
Monday and Tuesday keep the warm trend going, in the middle 60s for highs on Monday and nearing 70 by Tuesday afternoon!
We won’t keep the unseasonably warm weather going for much longer... starting to see signs of our next big drop in temperatures midweek. By the end of next week, our afternoon highs will struggle to climb out of the 40s. Some areas inland may hit the freezing mark early Thursday and Friday mornings.
Looking ahead to next weekend, a cold rain is trending to arrive later in the day on Saturday into Saturday night.
