HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting later this month regarding the proposed relocation of U.S. 501 in Myrtle Beach.

According to news release from SCDOT, the proposed improvements along U.S. 501 are from Broadway Street to 9th Avenue.

The meeting will be held on Jan. 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot at 851 Broadway Street.

“The meeting will have a drop-in type format with displays for viewing and citizens will have the opportunity to provide written comments,” the release states.
