LUMBERTON, NC (WMBF) - Two men were arrested after being caught breaking and entering in a Lumberton home Saturday night.
According to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, 53-year-old Perry Walters of Fairmont and 42-year-old Christopher L. LeClaire of Lumberton were found inside the home attempting to steal $4,000 worth of items when deputies arrived on scene.
Officials say Walter and LeClaire are charged with felony conspiracy, breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering for the theft of a king size bedroom set with a mattress, wood dresser, wood baby crib, clothing, shoes and toys.
LeClaire was in possession of a stolen vehicle when deputies arrived, and is also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
LeClaire is being held in Robeson County Detention center on $101,000 bond. Walters is also being held in Robeson County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
