HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A series of accidents on Wednesday left a portion of Highway 701 near Moses Lane blocked, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Those on the scene helping with cleanup said a semi-truck hauling wood chips broke in half blocking a portion of the road.
According to SCHP, this happened around 9:08 a.m. and traffic was detoured to allow crews time to clean up.
During this time, a logger truck ended up in a ditch near Thompson Farms and was removed.
Later in the day, around 6:19 p.m. according to SCHP, a tanker truck ended up overturning in the same ditch.
There were no reported injuries from the incidents.
