FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A man charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of a 12-year-old girl in Timmonsville last August has been extradited to South Carolina.
Jail records show Michael Christian Barclay, 32, was booked into the Florence County Detention Center on Dec. 15.
On August 25, 12-year-old Fantasia Jackson was shot and killed while she was running for cover on East Byrd Street. Barclay, who was arrested in Brooklyn, N.Y, on Aug. 31, is one of three men charged in relation to Jackson’s death. According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Demonta Hickson and 28-year-old Jimmy Hampton Jr. are also charged with murder.
Barclay is being held without bond.
