HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Coast RTA announced Friday the reopening of its service to the Loris area, according to a news release.
Route 2, Loris/Conway, will operate on its normal schedule beginning Sunday.
“With the reopening of the Loris route, Coast RTA has resumed full service of all fixed routes following Hurricane Florence and the post-hurricane flooding. Starting Sunday, everything will be back on track regarding fixed routes and paratransit services. Our Route 7 passengers can still expect delays resulting from traffic congestion and lane closures. I want to take this opportunity to thank you operators and support staff for this dedication and commitment to provide safe service in spite of conditions. With that being said, I’d like to send a huge “Thank You” to our passengers for their patience during this trying time,” said Coast RTA general manager Brian Piascik.
