MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - In this week’s Restaurant Scorecard, WMBF News sorted through inspection reports from four businesses offering up everything from the catch of the day, to sweet wine and lunch sandwiches. While they each specialize in different menus, one thing they have in common are the “A” grades each sports on their front doors.
Let’s start on the South Strand at Bubba’s Fish Shack in Surfside Beach. It’s described as a lively, family-friendly shack serving Southern seafood. It received 95 out of 100 points during its inspection. The DHEC inspector noted foods stored at improper temperatures and an issue with the temperature of a cooler.
Over at the 50′s style dining joint, Burky’s, on North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach inspectors deducted points for build-up inside both a microwave and an ice machine. Burky’s received 97 out of 100 points.
While paying a visit to the wine-lover’s paradise in North Myrtle Beach, inspectors only deducted one point from Duplin Winery. During its inspection Tuesday, DHEC officials noted the winery didn’t have heat strips or a proper thermometer inside the dishwasher.
Which Which Superior Sandwiches is boasting a superior grade after its most recent health inspection. DHEC stopped by the location on Brookton Circle, off of Dick Pond Road, this week. While inside, inspectors didn’t find any violations. Which Which received a perfect score of 100.
