MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Rain chances return this week as a cold front moves into the Carolinas.
We catch a break from the rain today but turn up the heat. We’ll approach 90 inland with upper 80s along the Grand Strand.
The cold front arrives in the Carolinas on Thursday and stalls out across the area. That will bring us a few days of afternoon showers and storms, starting Thursday and continuing into the weekend. Thanks to the added cloud cover, temperatures will hold in the 80s across the area.
Rain chances will diminish towards the end of this weekend. temperatures turn cooler late in the seven day as we drop into the lower 80s early next week.
