MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Two separate accidents, happening just 10 minutes apart, in Myrtle Beach are causing backups on the roads.
The first accident happened around 1:15 p.m. along 17 Bypass in the area of 82nd Parkway, according to Lt. Jonathan Evans with the Myrtle Beach Fire Department.
The two-vehicle crash has one lane of 17 Bypass northbound shutdown.
Just 10 minutes after that crash, a bicyclist was involved in a second crash at 41st Avenue N. and Kings Highway, said Lt. Evans.
As of 2:10 p.m., the left northbound lane of Kings Highway is closed as crews work to clear the scene.
The person who was riding the bike was transported to the hospital. No other information was available on their injuries.
