MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Perfectly pleasant conditions continue outside today as lower humidity and cooler temperatures move in for the next few days.

Some clouds will likely linger on the Grand Strand through tonight and the first half of the day on Sunday. These will be the indirect result of newly upgraded Tropical Storm Chris, off the coast of the Carolinas. It is expected to continue to move out to sea. Thus inland areas will see the sunshine start earlier. By the afternoon, sun comes out with cooler high temperatures in the middle 80s.

Through Monday and Tuesday, the relief from the summer heat continues. Sunny skies and comfy air continues as highs warm into the upper 80s and low 90s with low humidity.

By midweek, the summer heat and humidity build back in, leading to a return to typical pop up storms by Thursday and Friday.
