MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – One suspect is charged with hitting his victim and burning her clothes, while another is accused of slapping the woman who is seven months pregnant with his child.
Both are wanted on domestic violence charges and both are on the loose. Authorities hope you can help find them.
Last week, officers said Phillip John Surette was arguing with the victim on Canterbury Drive in Myrtle Beach because, according to that victim, the suspect was unemployed and drinking heavily.
The victim alleges words turned violent when the suspect threw her up against the wall and began hitting her. The victim reportedly tried to call 911, but said the suspect took her phone and tried to keep her from leaving. She said she was able to escape from the second floor balcony to her neighbor's residence, who lived below.
The victim looked out of the back door of her neighbor's and noticed the suspect burning her clothes in a laundry basket, then throwing that basket off the balcony, according to law enforcement. Officers used forced entry to gain access to the unit, but were unable to find Surette. He's 27 years old and has a last known address of Canterbury Drive in Carolina Forest.
Donnie Jenerette Jr., is also wanted on domestic violence charges. The victim said she and the suspect arrived in the Kroger Plaza on North Kings Highway on June 22, when he demanded money from her. She refused and said Jenerette pushed her young daughter, then slapped her in the face before driving away in her vehicle, leaving her and her daughter stranded.
When officers reached the suspect by phone, he said the victim - who is seven months pregnant with his child - was being hormonal. Jenerette is 34 years old and has a last known address of Foxwood Drive in Loris.
