Police search for men who used counterfeit money at Ocean Boulevard stores

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who allegedly used counterfeit money at two different locations on Ocean Boulevard earlier this year.

According to information posted on the Myrtle Beach Police Department's Facebook page, a man used a counterfeit $100 bill to make a purchase at Mad Myrtle Ice Cream at 8:56 p.m. on April 25.

Then, at 10:40 p.m. on April 25, one man exchanged a counterfeit $100 bill for change at the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove.

Police believe the two suspects are connected. Anyone with information is asked to call the MBPD at (843) 918-1382.
