MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - We'll make it to the 90s again at the beach and the middle 90s inland. With temperatures a degree or two cooler than the last several days, no heat advisories are in effect, but the heat index will still climb to between 100 and 104. The afternoon and evening will see just a 30 percent chance of a stray shower or storm.
Saturday will be very similar with temperatures ranging from 90 to 95 and the heat index up to 100 to 104. Once again, most areas will remain dry, but a stray storm or two will be possible.
Sunday will see return to very high humidity and heat advisories will likely be in place in some areas as the heat index reaches above 105 by the afternoon. Storm chances increase a bit with a few strong storms possible late in the day.
A brief break in the heat and humidity will arrive with a surge of slightly cooler temperatures and less mugginess by Tuesday and Wednesday.
