DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Darlington County Sheriff's investigators have charged a man with attempted murder and possession of a weapon following a shooting on Jamestown Avenue.
According to a press release from the Darlington County Sheriff's Office, 41-year-old Frederick Deon Alford, of Darlington, allegedly fired a shotgun at his girlfriend's son, hitting both of his legs.
The shooting happened after an argument, according to law enforcement.
An arrest warrant states the shooting happened on Tuesday.
Alford's bond hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning.
