Horry County, SC - HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - He stayed at the victim's hotel, now he's charged with forging the owner's checks.

Another suspect is facing charges that are violent in nature and both men are on the loose. Authorities are looking for help locating them.

Horry County Police say 44-year-old Scott Randal Buchholz was staying at a hotel on Renee Drive in Myrtle Beach.

The owner says last month Buchholz must have gone into his desk drawer and taken some of his checks. Buchholz allegedly endorsed the checks after making them out to himself. There were at least 50 checks all made out to the suspect.

Buchholz used his real identity and even used his thumbprint as identification while cashing those checks, according to police. He is believed to be homeless but is known to stay at America's Best Hotel and should be driving a black Honda Accord with a Cars-R-U temporary tag.

Varnell Andrew Langston is facing second-degree domestic violence charges.

Langston is 33 years old and authorities say he couldn't take no for an answer. On May 20, Langston went to the victim's house in hopes of taking two children at the house with him, authorities say.

The victim says she refused to let him take the kids because he had been drinking. That's when the victim says Langston got angry and pushed her into a window, pulled her hair, punched her with his fist and threw her into a wall and caused her to fall to the ground. All three victims were taken to a medical center to be evaluated.

Langston's last known address is on Mica Avenue in Little River.
